San Isabel Electric Association, located in Pueblo West Colorado is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead the Engineering and Operations functions of the cooperative. San Isabel has nearly 3,900 miles of distribution and transmission lines to serve 24,000 consumer-owners over a 9,600 square mile area in all or part of seven counties in southern Colorado. The position requires a degree in electrical engineering and PE certification in the state of Colorado or the ability to obtain one within six months of employment. Must be knowledgeable of general distribution and transmission engineering in the following areas; system coordination, distribution system analysis, power quality analysis, and work management. This position will report directly to the General Manager and supervise six department heads.
