Cuchara, La Veta and Walsenburg Members urged to call to report outages

Walsenburg, CO – Due to critical infrastructure damage from the Spring Fire, San Isabel Electric Members only in the Cuchara, La Veta and Walsenburg areas are being asked to call San Isabel Electric’s toll-free number to report outages.

All of our meters in the area are equipped with wireless radios that communicate with our headquarters. The fire damaged the link between our meters and headquarters and the meters no longer have the ability to communicate to headquarters.

Members who need to report outages in the affected areas can call 1-800-279-7432.

The Walsenburg office will be closed on Friday, June 29, 2018.
