For immediate release:

9:00 a.m. – Friday, May 15, 2020

Due to an unexpected equipment failure, San Isabel Electric has scheduled a power outage for Friday, May 15, beginning at 10:30 a.m. until approximately 11 a.m.

Approximately 800 members west of Pueblo West High School and bounded by McCulloch Boulevard on the north, west and south and in tracts 305, 306, 307,309, 311,312, and 313 will be affected.

We apologize for the inconvenience of the short notice, and of the outage itself. A piece of our power supplier’s equipment failed late Thursday evening.

This is an emergency repair. We would be risking the piece of equipment completely failing and an outage affecting about 2/3 of our Pueblo West members for longer than just 30 minutes, if repairs on this piece of equipment are not started today.

Outage status updates will also be posted at siea.com when available.
