District 5:

Jacque Sikes is presently serving as the Board Vice President on the San Isabel Electric Board of Directors, representing District 5. She was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2011. Ms. Sikes is a Cooperative Credentialed Director and Board Leadership Certified from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Ms. Sikes serves on the CARE Committee.

Ms. Sikes operated an insurance agency serving the entire area until retiring in 2014 and is currently the Executive Director of the Housing Authority of the City of Walsenburg.

She currently serves on the Huerfano County Regional Building Authority Board.   Ms. Sikes previously served on the Walsenburg City Council as the Walsenburg City Treasurer, the Huerfano County Economic Development Board and the CVCP Board.

Ms. Sikes enjoys serving her community, advocates for the Members who reside in her district and strives to make Walsenburg a better place to live.
