Don Tokar currently represents District 7.  Mr. Tokar was first elected to the Board in 2022.

Mr. Tokar has recently retired from 34 years of service in the Electrical Industry. During this time he served as an Electrical Construction Manager and as an Electrical Construction Consultant to the Commercial Building, Mining, Oil and Gas Industries in seven western states.

Mr. Tokar managed and/or consulted on large electrification projects in the Bakken Oil Formation (North Dakota & Montana) the Permian Oil Shale Formation (Texas) and the San Juan Oil Shale Formation (Four Corners Area AZ. NM.UT. CO.) His responsibilities included cost estimating, budgeting revenue and P & L for the projects. He was also tasked with coordinating with local electrical cooperatives to establish and provide electric power for these projects then to provide a turnkey I&E operation for the client. These projects ranged from $250,000 to in excess of $7,000,000

Mr. Tokar and his wife, Marie, were raised in Las Animas County and reside in the Weston area where they enjoy raising Quarter Horses for the ranching, cutting horse and rodeo industries. They also enjoy just spending time with family, friends, and neighbors.
