BIG ANNOUCEMENTS

Attend the annual meeting to learn how to apply for a $25,000 home energy-efficiency donation. Details about the project’s scope, the nomination process and more will be revealed at the annual meeting.

The co-op will also inform the membership about programs available to help lower electric bills.

FREE STUFF

The co-op will be giving away:

  • An electric lawn mower
  • Two $50 gift cards

The winners will be drawn randomly from the members attending at least half of the online annual meeting and will be notified the following week.

If you are interested but cannot attend, a recording of the meeting will be available at siea.com/annualmeeting the following week.

San Isabel Electric’s 2021 Board of Directors election is uncontested. As a result, the cooperative did not mail director election ballots. The incumbent directors, Jacque Sikes, Joseph Costa, and Edward “Ray” Garcia will serve another three-year term.  For more information about the area each director serves, visit siea.com/board to view the district map.

Everyone who gets power from San Isabel Electric should have received a notice in the mail about the meeting. Instead of location information, the notice provided pre-registration instructions for the online virtual meeting, bylaw change information and a bylaw ballot.  Bylaw changes are also available to review online at siea.com/annualmeeting.

Bylaw voting will be conducted via mail-in ballot.  Mail-in ballots must be received by mail Thursday, September 16, 2021. Ballots can only be dropped off the day of the annual meeting in the payment drop box at the Pueblo West Headquarters office located at 781 East Industrial Blvd., Pueblo West, CO 81007.
